Is there a small and simple utility for joining two videos and creating a new video out of it? The two videos may have different extensions like avg, flv, etc.

The easiest way to do it in XP is to convert the videos to WMV and use Windows Movie Maker to make the final video. You will want them all the same file type, or there is a good chance the video will not turn out correctly.
