My USB 3.0 flash drive cannot copy files from a USB port 2.0. The message below always pops up when I try to use the drive in a 2.0 slot.

How can I fix this problem?

Please help. Thanks.

As Jan says, it's not a USB 3 vs 2 issue. Most likely it's a problem with file types/codecs, but it could be some other problem in Windows.

USB 2 and 3 are fully compatible. This is not a problem with the drive but with your file. This error looks a lot like you are trying to play an unsupported file type in Media Player Classic. It is also very similar to an error listed in their FAQ"majortype: MEDIATYPE_Stream {E436EB83-524F-11CE-9F53-0020AF0BA770}subtype: MEDIASUBTYPE_MPEG1System {E436EB84-524F-11CE-9F53-0020AF0BA770}formattype: TIME_FORMAT_NONE {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}The format above is MPEG-1. Try enabling the internal MPEG PS/TS/PVA source filter and MPEG-1 decoder in Media Player Classic. See Options -> Internal Filters -> Transform Filters."http://www.codecguide.com/faq_mpc.htm

Correction: Not in the MPC-HC FAQ but one about possible codec issues in MPC.
