My Canon Pixma 540 does not scan since updating to OS X Yosemite 2 days ago.
It prints files, images, etc... but it won't scan images and the error message reads:
No scanner or camera connected!
Is there any way to fix or diagnose a disconnected scanner in Apple's OS X 10.10, Yosemite?

Try installing the latest driver for your scanner (ICA driver) from the Canon Support site.Most 10.9 drivers should work just fine under OS X 10.10
