Hello. What would be the best free CDN for a wordpress blog? The CDN should be speedy, and must be free. I am currently looking at:

1. Cloudfare

2. SpeedyMirror

3. CoralCDN

Which other free CDN do you recommend? Thank you for your help.

The free CDN services are not much effective. Try using MaxCDN. It is really effective.

CloudFlare isn't really a CDN, at least not on the free plan. It does speed up your site, but not in the sense of hosting images and css for you. It simply cuts out duplicate requests and prevents illegitimate requests, but it's definintely useful to have in addition to any other caching you perform. CoralCDN will not help, it's only designed to handle digg-effects. In addition, you have to manually append the URL to anything you want to server through their network - bad for SEO, and non-automated. Beyond that though - if you have the traffic to require a CDN, you really ought to stop being so cheap and expecting a decent service for free. What would a company running a free CDN for you possibly have to gain out of the equation? If it's a real CDN, theres no way to inject ads in there, and yet that company has to provide servers in many geographic locations to serve those files quickly. You simply don't get services for free. There is always a cost, and most free services use advertising. CDNs cant do that, hence they aren't free. I'm curious, is your hosting and domain name free too??
