If you've ever noticed, the Google Podcasts app for smartphones shows a section called For You. This contains all podcasts that Google thinks you might be interested in. Google is now bringing this personalized podcast recommendations feature to Podcasts on the web.
For You Is Now Available on Google Podcasts for the Web
As first spotted by 9to5Google, Google Podcasts on the web now shows a section called For You. This section has a list of podcasts that Google has curated specifically for you. These podcast recommendations are based on your personal preferences.
Google Podcasts for iOS and Android offered this feature for a long time, and finally, the feature is making its way to the web version of this podcasts service.
How For You Works in Google Podcasts on the Web
Up until, the homepage of Google Podcasts displayed the top podcasts in various categories. You now have a new section there called For You that contains personalized podcast suggestions for you.
In this For You section, you'll find various podcasts and their episodes. You can click the right-arrow icon to explore more recommended podcasts. Each card contains the podcast name, the author name, a description of the podcast episode, and a play button.
The play button also shows the length of the podcast episode.
How to Access For You in Google Podcasts on the Web
There's no option that you need to enable to use For You in Google Podcasts on the web. The feature is enabled by default and you can access it on the Podcasts site.
Head over to Google Podcasts, sign in to your account if you haven't already, and you'll see For You.
Google offers an option to turn this section off if you want. To do this, click the menu in the top-left corner, select Settings, and toggle off the Show personalized recommendations option.
To access For You in Google Podcasts on a mobile, open the Podcasts app, tap the Explore tab at the bottom, and tap For You at the top. You can now see all your podcast recommendations.

Google Podcasts has many podcasts on offering and so it's difficult to find the ones that you'll actually like. With For You, Google has made it a bit easier for you to find podcasts that you'll likely be interested in.
