I used the SFC command with administrative rights however the result showed I have corrupt files and was unable to fix them. There was a very BIG log file but there is no further instruction on what should I do?

you can try to find the registry or the logs on google and try repairing them with the stock files. if that does not work, you might be out of luck and just have to factory restore the OS

you can also use windows restore point to revert back to earlier state where Windows was fine.

Run this Command as an administrator in Windows 8, Windows 7 and Vista.Open Command Prompt --> sfc /scannow /offbootdir=d:\ /offwindir=d:\windowsThe /offbootdir= option specifies the drive letter, while the /offwindir= option specifies the Windows path, again including the drive letter.Depending on how your computer is setup, the Command Prompt, when used from outside of Windows, doesn't always assign drive letters in the same way that you see them from inside Windows. In another words, Windows might be at C:\Windows when you're using it, but D:\Windows from the Command Prompt in System Recovery Options. If not solve your problem and you want to recover. At this point, you should boot off of your OS media (CD or DVD) and try to run a repair installation. That should resolve the corrupt file issue and you will need to run Windows Update until no more updates are found for your system. If the repair install doesn't work, you will need to reinstall the OS to fix the issues unless you are adventurous enough to attempt manually replacing all of the corrupt files (very tedious and time-consuming task).
