I have always used Firefox but now I continuously get Adobe plug in crash messages even though I've installed the latest version. Any idea why? Also, my laptop freezes frequently and all issues seem to have started since I switched to Verizon from Comcast. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
I've switched to Chrome meanwhile I but would like to add menu bar. Is there any way to do that? I'd prefer to use Firefox but cannot solve the crashes and freezing issues.

As the others already posted it is best to start with fully uninstalling and re-installing the plug-in.Flashplayer uninstallerhttp://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html(Adobe Reader cleaner)http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.htmland to get the latest version forFlashplayerhttp://get.adobe.com/flashplayerAdobe Readerhttp://get.adobe.com/readerIn case the crash/issue is related to Adobe Reader you might want to try changing the plug-in settings/disabling it in the first place. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing both Firefox and Flashplayer but it still keeps crashing. Guess I've got to use Chrome altho' I would prefer Firefox. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Is this Adobe Reader or Flash Player? I assume Flash.I'd recommend uninstalling the affected plug-in from your computer and re-installing it fresh. This doesn't have anything to do with your switch to Comcast; that wouldn't affect your browser. What menu bar do you mean in Chrome? Do you mean the new pop-up menu in Firefox which shows buttons for Options, Add-Ons, Downloads, and the like all in one place?

Uninstall the Adobe plug-in to see if that fixes your problem.
