Is there a way to find a job as a web developer / designer online? I mean, is there a serious site? No sites that are just spam! Also, companies that hire online, are there any??

There are a few sites that you can check, if you checkout techmeme.com, near the bottom of the page they list Tech companies looking for developer or designer. It's worth taking a look at.

I'm using oDesk and Elance. Both have a lot of good job categories available, and the best thing about these sites is that one gets to work from home, which is totally awesome, in my view.

Working from home is one of the things I like. But most of them are scams! So, I will check these sites you recommended me, and see if they can be useful for me! Thanks a lot for your suggestion!

You're welcome, and even I was cynical at first about these sites but lately I have found a lot of good work on oDesk. I find myself navigating to oDesk more for the quality of the job listings. And there literally are a ton of job listings for Web Design and a lot of tests that are offered by oDesk to showcase your abilities.Good luck!

I have seen freelancer.. I know it's a good site. But, sometimes it gets me crazy! There are people there, who don't even know english well.. And I need hours to communicate with them, and in the end, I don't get the job... -.-'
