Saikat Basu wrote several excellent round-ups of online travel guides. One of my favorites is his round of

the top-ten best sites on the net .I've also been collecting several offline guides for use with my Nook Touch e-reader. By far, the best website with offline reader support is WikiTravel . There are many other amazing travel guides out there, but WikiTravel is constantly updated with the newest information and it's my one-stop shop for travel info. The Barcelona section is particularly well written. It's definitely worth a look! Also worth noting is Wikipedia's round-up of online travel guides:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guide_book#Digital_worldAlso check out WikiSherpa for iOS and Android:http://www.wikisherpa.com/

Why not use Google Maps Street View to familiarize yourself with Barcelona:http://goo.gl/maps/d5i2z
