1. Where can I find deleted items on my computer, or are they gone "forever"?

2. How do I copy emails from one computer to another (both computers are on the same email account)?

3. Where does the computer store the internet browsing history and/or log files?

Thank you.

Hello, sometimes depending on operating system and if the deleted files have not been overwritten by other data, they can be recovered.  For example, if you are running windows 7 from Pro and up you could try using previous versions of files to recover them.  If file has been overwritten the chances decrease rapidly.  You could try recuva:http://www.piriform.com/recuvaWith regards to questions 2.  What client are you using for email?  Is it webmail or an ISP provided email?  with regards to question 3.  What browser are you using?  The folder that stores temporary internet files is the following:XP:C:Document and Settingsuser.nameLocal SettingsTemporary Internet FilesWindows 7:C:Usersuser.nameApp DataLocalMicrosoftWindowsTemporary Internet Files

1) deleted items goes to recycle bin and from there they are deleted. To recover there are some freeware and shareware, like Recuvanow to recover deleted files can be difficult if they are overwritten and also since how many days they are deleted, so in many case impossible to recover.2)Well to copy email from one computer to another perhaps tou can use Outlook, http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/copy-the-outlook-folder-structure-to-another-computer-HA001116603.aspxMozbackuphttp://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/3)Chromein xp = C:Documents and SettingsUSERLocal SettingsApplication DataGoogleChromeUser DataDefaultin vista = C:usersUSERLocal SettingsApplication DataGoogleChromeUser DataDefaultwin7: C:Users[username]AppDataLocalGoogleChromeUser DataDefaultHow to Find the Internet History of a Computerhttp://www.liutilities.com/how-to/find-the-internet-history-of-a-computer/
