I want to know if there is any software to find the location using GPS in my mobile to find where my computer is. And also, if there is one to find the location of the mobile!
Also if there is one that uses the IP of the computer to find its location, or if there is one to find the location of a mobile using its IMEI (serial number).

There are various options depending on the actual device you are using. One example would be Prey which supports a variety of systems.http://preyproject.com/Usually those tools use multiple options available to pinpoint the position that includes (A-)GPS, WiFi and also the IP address. The accuracy simply depends on which one it is using.GPS for example is usually quite accurate wherein locating via WiFi depends on the amount of networks detected and whether they are mapped by the used service or not (one of those would be www.skyhookwireless.com).Locating via IMEI is usually limited to law enforcement as it requires certain access to cellphone infrastructure.Locating via IP is usually inaccurate because it mostly ends at the providers main exchange rather than the local telephone exchange let alone the subscriber line.

I thought the same about IP, since I've done some researches...But about the IMEI, I think it might be legal, if I use to locate my own mobile, right?

Legal or not you won't get the necessary access in the first place. You would need access to the providers internal antenna system to find the sender (location) where the IMEI has tried to logon. Providers don't give out that kind of access to the public. Actually not even all of their technical staff has that kind of access.

I see! That means it can't be located via IMEI...
