How do you connect to the internet ? Do you plug the LAN cable or do you have a dialer to connect to your modem ?Are you able to browse the net after you connect ? If so, then possibly, you had put some file on a public share folder that has been deleted or moved out. If so, ensure that your firewall is on to be on the safe side

It looks like your computer is automatically looking for a file as soon as your computer senses that it is a connected to the internet. Unless of course it happens when your computer starts up, in which case it is trying to connect a network drive or something

Are you going to open file on the network?

It isn't a problem with your connection. Your system is attempting to access a file that at one time was in a specific location on your hard drive and it is no longer there. It may be a shim that was added to your TCP/IP stack for some purpose and was later removed but the references to it in the registry are still there (common for many programs when they are uninstalled). You can run a registry cleaner or CCleaner to locate issues related to missing files. Back up your registry before you let it try to fix anything and in this case, you may want to only make changes that relate only to missing files. After doing this, restart your computer (the registry is only read once and held in memory until the computer is shut down) and see if the behavior has changed (you should no longer get that error message, although it is possible you will end up with a different one).
