I have a Samsung T-mobile T939. It requires manual GPRS settings. How can I do that? Furthermore, its Bluetooth is discovered by other devices, but file transfers fail. Please guide me.

re gprs settings--click menu--select wireless controls---select mobile networks--then select access point names---click menu button and you will see a dialog box giving you the option to add new apn---select that and input your operator settings.----that should do it for internet---------re bluetooth ---only a2dp,bluetooth headsets or handsfree or sending vcards via bluetooth will work, phone cannot send files/music to other phones this way---put files in computer and use data cable and mass storage o transfer to memory card.have been using behold 2 about 3 mths now with no problems,i got it with donut 1.6 use open gesture pro as home screen.hope this helps.

Here is some info about the phone I found: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_t939_behold_2-2955.phpThat is your phone correct? If it is then all is well and we can move on. From that site I found the Owners Manual: http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200912/20091202074051609/SGH_T939TMO_Behold2_ug_eng.pdfOn page 176 (179 if you type it in the page field) you will find the steps for turning your phone's bluetooth on.As for the GPRS I couldn't find anything specific for your mobile, but found these settings for T-Mobile by searching in Google for "T-Mobile GPRS Settings":http://support.t-mobile.com/doc/tm21625.xml;jsessionid=6mJPnjzkuv_SLBEXGshttp://www.theody.net/t-mobile.htmlhttp://www.importgsm.com/gprs.pdfI believe that these will work in the USA (I am assuming you live there), but I can't be held responsible if this causes any charges in your invoice/plan/service or if it affects your service.Hope it all helps!

You need to get proper settings from your service provider. They can send settings Over-The-air ( SMS). Once you received the settings save and set it as default.

thanks for reply. I have also tried the same but setting received from service provider cannot be saved, therefore i requested manual settings. i forgot to mention that samsung T mobile t939 runs on android 1.5 cupcake os.
