This happens when a file is deleted in the library system in Windows 7.  How do I get rid of a listed file name that has no file?

Hello, you can get the free version of Glary Utilities.  It has several modules.  If you go to Clean up & Repair Module, you can use the Shortcut fixer to get rid of shortcuts that lead nowhere.  Also, if you go to the Files & Folders module, you can use the Empty Folders Finder which as its name implies finds and removes empty folders in your windows installation.  Have a look at it, it has several tools.  Only advice is to try to stay away from Registry editors in general.  You can download it from the makeuseof archive for best windows software under Windows Maintenance:https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/best-windows-software/or,http://www.glarysoft.com/products/utilities/glary-utilities/

Run CCleaner ( www.piriform.com  ) .it would get rid of all crap ,leftovers , temp , and redundant files and registry entries .basically it would clean up the system .and also run the Windows Drive Clean ( Accessories>System Tools>Disk Ckean Up ) .this should solve the problem .
