In this guide, we cover fixes for some of the common Your Phone app issues you might encounter on your devices. So check out these eight fixes for Your Phone, and you might just be able to resolve your problems.

1. Ensure Your Internet Works

To use Your Phone without any issues, you must have a working and reliable internet connection. If your connection has an issue, Your Phone will likely display errors.

To check if the internet works, open a browser on your PC and see if a website loads.

You can do the same on your Android device to ensure your phone’s internet works.

In case there’s an issue with the internet, contact your internet service provider (ISP) and let them resolve the problem.

2. Allow Your Phone to Run in the Background

If you’re missing notifications from Your Phone, it might be that your device kills the app in the background.

To prevent the app from being terminated in the background, you need to enable the option that allows the app to stay active even when it’s not in focus on both your PC and phone.

Here we show how you do just that.

Allow Your Phone to Run in the Background on Windows 10

  1. Launch the Settings app on your PC.
  2. Click Privacy.
  3. Select Background apps on the left.
  4. Under the Choose which apps can run in the background section on the right, find the Your Phone app.
