There is alternative way to load Windows XP SP2 in Mac OS, but not in dual boot mode. You can use virtualize software to achieve this. Well known virtualization softwares include VMWare and VirtualBox.

Hello, I would say you can accomplish that by using Boot Camp and Boot Camp Assistant. Keep in mind that the newest release, Boot Camp 4.0 for OS X lion, doesn't support installation of XP, only windows 7. You would have to use a Boot Camp version previous to last release. http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/The following link provides the pdf file for Installation and Setup guide for boot camp in Lion:http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/boot_camp_install-setup_10.7.pdfIf you decide to this, make sure you meet the requirements. Keep in mind that you also have the option of installing XP in a Mac by using Parallels or any other virtual machine.
