Followed the thread on creating multiple DropBox accounts on a Mac on the article How To Run Multiple Dropbox Accounts Simultaneously and Josh's suggestion to use Applescript editor to create the application.

It works great, however, the DropboxAltStarter does not want to quit when trying to logout/shutdown/restart. I have to manually quit both DropBoxes to do so. Not a big problem, but annoying.

Any suggestions?

Make sure you didn't forget the & in your startup script;HOME=$HOME/dropbox-alt /Applications/Dropbox.app/Contents/MacOS/Dropbox &

on mac os x you just open the preferences of dropbox and in general you uncheck (Start Dropbox on System Startup)... I hope it helps...
