actually i did it earlier also but the problem with photoshop is that it never reduces the file size very minutely, (i may be wrong or may not hv good knowledge of photoshop). I resized the image to 21kb and to further reduce it by 1 kb was really tiring and ultimately i have to compromise with the picture quality so that i may be able to upload the photo online. Anyhow, i am really happy to see that people are there to help. my gud wishes

Hi Ravi,In Photoshop, open the image and go to
Image -> Image Size
(shortcut 'ALT + CTRL + I'). Then enter the new dimensions of your image and press "
Ok
". If you can't figure it out, upload the image to
Image Shack
,
Tiny Pic
,
Flickr
or
PhotoBucket
and I will perform the resizing. To compress the image, when you press "Save As", in the quality dialog box lower the quality down. You may alternatively use a free service such as
Image Optimizer
to compress it.- Jeff
