You can. Thats what I do for my Nokia N8 and N9. You will need a Nokia Account though. At a certain point, Nokia Store will say that the app is not compatible for your phone, but you will still be able to download the file. Nokia allows it, and big thumbs up to them.Register on http://store.ovi.com Go to an app you want, example http://store.ovi.com/content/264872 Then just add " /download " at the end of the URL link, so that it becomes-> http://store.ovi.com/content/264872/download ,then press Enter or Go.The file will be downloaded to your computer. You just have to transfer them to your phone, by cable through Nokia Suite or Mass Storage or Bluetooth or Wifi.Thats it.But paid apps have to be bought first, then you can download it to your computer.Always buy an app or product if you really want it.Don't steal like pirates do.

Well, you can. Thats what I do to get apps for my Nokia N8 and N9. It doesn't matter which phone model you have, it will tell you that certain apps are not compatible with your phone, but you can download it. You will need a Nokia Account though. Its not complicated, just register, and you can change your phone model anytime. Go to http://store.ovi.com/ and Sign In. Search for an app, example:-> http://store.ovi.com/content/264872Then on the address bar of your internet browser, just add "/download" so that it looks like this -> http://store.ovi.com/content/264872/download and Enter / Go. The app will be downloaded to your computer. You just have to transfer it to your phone. If the apps are free, you will get your files. For paid items, you will have to buy it. Nokia Store will keep a copy of the file in your history and you can download it like I said above.Always buy an app if you really want it. Don't steal by using pirated rip-offs.

It's more or less a question of if the developer makes the file available for download from their site. Good Luck

I have downloaded several apps that wouldn't show for my device in the Play Store by going to the developers homepage. I am unsure if this is the case with ovi but its worth a try :)
