Why doesn't contact info show up for incoming calls on my Android smartphone?

I have the S5 Samsung. When people call or text, the names are not appearing and when I try to call a person from a contact or even type in a name on my contact list the number doesn't show up. Please help, I need to call people.

Are there any entries in your contact list or "People" app? Did you recently sync a new Google account to your phone and accidentally overwrite something?
