iTunes is a piece of software on your computer. There's also the "iTunes Store" which is part of Apple's web site (the bit you buy music and apps from).iCloud is a cloud storage service which allows you to back up and sync files from your Apple devices. There are also small pieces of software (control panels etc) called "iCloud" which allow you to control the settings for this synchronisation.
