I sign in to Twitter secured, but my browser keeps on showing me the encrypted sign though I'm secured. Am I watched or monitored?

it makes your password full secured through encryption mode. passwords will be automatically get encrypted by the protocol, this is particularly useful when you can’t use SSL or other kinds of secure protocols. the username and the password is hided with a random number (nonce) generated by the session usually done by the MD5 algorithm.Seamonkey, like it's sibling Firefox, notifies the user when an encrypted page is not secure by displaying a broken padlock in the status bar. The latest versions of both Seamonkey and Firefox displays both a closed padlock icon in the status bar and coloured background in the URL field when the page is properly encrypted and secure. They also display a red broken padlock in the status bar but no coloured background in the URL field when the encrypted page is not secure.http://www.seamonkey-project.org/http://philipramsey.blogspot.com/2011/02/httpswwwcchcamyaccountloginaspx-not.htmlHow to Use SeaMonkey's Security Featureshttp://www.ehow.com/how_2033301_use-seamonkeys-security.html

"Encrypted" and "Secured" are synonymous, it just depends on the company with which word they use to describe it. I personally prefer "encrypted", as "secured" gives a false sense of invincible security. "Secured" may be a term used in conjunction with other variables, such as encryption state and type, certification authority and website rating. Just check the URL, if it shows https:// your traffic to and from the server is encrypted in either SSL or TLS.
