I have a Windows 7 PC with 2 monitors (resolution of 1440x900 each) and use an extended desktop setting.
I want to be able to display a different wall paper on each monitor.
When trying to stitch two different wall paper images together in an image editor I simply get a repeat of the image on the left.
Any suggestions?

Stitch the two images together and use the "tile setting" rather than "stretch" or "center".
