My dad's hard drive has some folders in desktop that contain desktop. The folders contain several layers of folders and the last folder contains desktop. They can't be deleted because the path is more than 256 bytes long. It creates a recursive Dir error.
I believe that the last folder points back to desktop, is that the right way to say it? Anyways, I had this same error a long time ago in Windows XP, but have forgotten how I fixed it or if I just reinstalled the operating system.
The OS is Windows Vista on a 32-bit tower, if that matters. I hope this is enough info.
Thanks.
