At https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-create-your-own-custom-windows-live-cd/ it says at the bottom you can customize text and stuff like that. How do you do that? Please answer as soon as possible and thank you in advanced!

To take BartPE farther, check out http://www.ubcd4win.com/ I would also check out the various WinBuilder Projects http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?showforum=22

There are lots of ways to build a custom Linux live CD. Windows is pretty much limited to BartPE I think (at least for free). I find the tool that comes with Slitaz linux very easy, if you are comfortable with Linux. Slitaz is limited in packages, so you might also Google "remastersys". There are other applications available too.

Check out SuseStudio (http://susestudio.com/)You can create and download a live iso based on SuSE Linux. You can customize the graphics, software, etc. I think this is what you're looking for. Good Luck!

You could check the BartPE forums and ask for help or you could go into the folder that is created for the build of the .iso file and edit the basic bartpe GUI. The point is to just mess with the files and then test it to see if it works. If you don't want to waste disks I suggest trying it out on free virtual machine software. Also, if you can find a working copy of BartPE with more than the basic drivers and software/plugins then you could reverse engineer that. Thats mostly if you haven't got a working disc yet. (Sorry for this weird answer...I don't have enough time to cover my tracks with specifics)good luck and sorryJohn
