On my desktop, I am using Windows XP.
Yesterday I noticed that while playing the music using VLC player, when I tried to select multiple files using CONTROL button to add in playlist, system sound automatically gets muted and my default browser starts loading. I don't know who configured it like that or maybe it is a virus attack?
Please help me to restore back to the original functionality of that CTRL button. Thanks in advance!

Hello, have you checked if this happens when you are selecting several files when using explorer or any other programs? Have you or anybody updated the VLC program? What kind of keyboard do you have? If this only happens with VLC, I would check the configuration of program. If you have some specialized keyboard, make sure that software is up to date and also check for settings for it. Check all other possible avenues first.
