If it's not configured, it will ask you on startup. Off memory, I think it's in Tools --> Accounts. Then just follow the prompts and work out what you POP or IMAP settings are. Thurana mentioned it for Gmail, below are the settings for Hotmail.Incoming POP server pop3.live.comIncoming POP mail port 995POP SSL required YesUser name Your Windows Live ID (for example: example555@hotmail.com)password The password you use to sign in to HotmailOutgoing SMTP server smtp.live.comOutgoing SMTP mail port 25 or 587Authentication required Yes (your Windows Live ID and password)TLS/SSL required Yes (select TLS if available, if not select SSL)

Depending on where you normally receive your email, the directions and steps you need to follow may vary. You can find basic steps here:http://products.secureserver.net/email/email_outlook.htmIf this isn't what you're looking for, just Google your query and you should find a step-by-step tutorial just like this.

Hi vicky,Assuming that you want to set Outlook for GMail, they have the complete tutorial here (for many other email clients also):http://mail.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?topic=12912With slight modification, the tutorial can also be applied to other email services out there.
