Do you think that it is because I have the Adobe Master Collection CS5 installed? Intel Celeron 2.2 GHz processor, 2 GB RAM, 64-bit Windows operating system.

Simply having software installed isn't likely to be the cause of bad performance (unless it is currently running), granted you have enough hard drive space. Why do you have 64 bit Windows installed, with only 2GB's of RAM? 64 bit operating systems are only beneficial if you have more than 4GB's of ram, in fact in your case this is probably [at least] part of the issue.
