The Chrome update, which will bring your browser to Version 88.0.4324.150. The update released today, as announced on the Chrome Releases Blog, and it's designed to fix a serious zero-day vulnerability that's actively being exploited by malicious folks as we speak.

The company said, "Google is aware of reports that an exploit for CVE-2021-21148 exists in the wild." With that in mind, Google elected to withhold details of the exploit until most users are updated with a fix. Obviously, alerting the world at large about the exploit could entice others to exploit it, so it makes sense for Google to keep things quiet for now.
