I am trying to watch a movie on my TV via the USB port, but am getting no audio. Other videos play well on my TV but not this movie which is in mkv format. What should I do? I am very weak in these things and have no knowledge about these, what shall I do?

i think for MKV your audio file should be AC3 for compatibility reasons

It's probably because your TV supports the video codec for the file but not the audio codec. you have to either convert the movie with an audio format that your TV understands or you will have to find another file. If you want to know what files and codecs your TV supports, you can check on their website.
