There are many online shopping portals. Can you recommend online shopping portals which you think are reliable and reasonable? Thanks!

Amazon. I have never had any problems at all with them. They are usually one of the least expensive. They have great customer service. They deliver fast. There isn't much they don't have. And they deliver fast.Good luck.Did I mention they deliver fast?

Amazon.com is not directly present in India though the have a development center in our country. Their local India operation is junglee.com, but unfortunately the prices are not as competitive or attractive like it's USA counterpart. It is actually similar in bargain as the other online shopping portals of India.

First of all,Flipkart is the best you can get to buy something from a variety of products. Then I would say Snapdeal. But their packaging doesn't seems to be good as compared with Flipkart which is very important aspect in online shopping.

There are only two shopping portals in India which I believe and had an extremely good hassle free experience with, Flipkart and eBay India. However, there are multiple other dependable online shopping places like Flipkart though I have not used them yet, like Homeshop18, Indiatimes shopping, etc. and most of them also have COD (Cash on Delivery) features. However, I am extremely impressed with eBay India, due to their PaisaPay feature. Ebay India is a portal where sellers register to sell their various items, including second hand items too. So if you like and item, carefully first read the description, where the seller would mention if it is a used or unused item. Also check the product ratings from other users and also the seller ratings. You can even ask clarifications from the seller as such link is also provided. Once you are satisfied, you can purchase it online via PaisaPay through online banking or credit card. The advantage is that the money is not directly remitted to the seller and held intermediately. However, the seller dispatches the material, as he is also assured the money has been remitted by you. Once you receive the material and satisfied with it, then you again need to get into your eBay account and give the go ahead to release the money to the seller from the PaisaPay. Also, I guess that otherwise you can return he material and their is also eBay guarantee. However, do carefully read the sellers return policy on specific material. Also eBay and Amazon are the biggest online shopping brand worldwide.

Yes, that is the way it is. For auction products, there is a timer present.
