There are so many to choose from but are they really worth it? Logitech Harmony seems the logical choice based on Google hits. I have a PVR machine, Blu-ray, amplifier, PlayStation 2 and TV to control and it's not fun juggling remotes anymore. I had a Logitech Harmony 525 but it gave up the ghost...and it was never really correctly set up due to limited functionality on the website.
What should I replace it with?

I have had many universal remotes and I fell in love with the Logitech Harmony brand I never seemed to be able to get all of the functionality that I needed or wanted from other remote brands the Harmony remotes are easily configured via their web site and they have over 225,000 devices in their database.

This is what I use. you can use up to 7 components. never had a problem with it, either. And its pretty inexpensive, too.http://www.amazon.com/URC-Universal-Control-Components-Favorite/dp/B001KC08A4/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1365294585&sr=1-1&keywords=universal&tag=muo-v2-6rg02qi-20&ascsubtag=UUmuoUeUpU78905&asc_refurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.makeuseof.com%2Fcan-you-help-me-find-the-best-universal-remote-control%2F&asc_campaign=EvergreenGood luck finding the one you need.
