I need a 9V-2.0A (max) charger for an 8" Tablet PC, Android operating system, model M806B.

Can I use a 9V-1500mA model HJT-681, which I have?

Thank you Jan and Oron. That was helpful. I will get a 2A charger.

If the manual says you need a 2A charger, you should really get a 2A charger. A less powerful charger will not damage your tablet and may be able to charge your tablet, but it will take a lot longer (and I mean A LOT LONGER).Apart from that, I agree with Jan. I've never seen an Android tablet that did not charge via USB, and USB is 5V, not 9V.

Check the specification of your tablet about what kind of charger it supports. However, I would assume your tablet is charged via USB in which case you should not attempt to use that charger by itself. USB is standardized at 5V so you'd need a voltage regulator before connecting it to your tablet.
