I have windows 7 and I can not able to save something in my folders and desktop. My computer asks me for permission. What I can do? I can only save in the download folder.

Open an explorer window and go to C:UsersyournameRight-click the Desktop folder and select Properties. On the security tab make sure your user(name) has "full access".If that is not the case I would assume that the security settings for your users folder are messed up and you may have to repeat the step for other folders too.If your use does have full access it's most likely an issue with the application you are trying to save from. I would suggest remove and re-install it to see if that solves the issue.

when you type cmd on search box, then use hotkey Ctrl+Shift + Enter, you will get a message box (do you want to allow...) click yes and try the sfc /scannow.create a new profile and check if you can save files there, if yes then you can follow the below.Fix a corrupted user profile http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/fix-corrupted-user-profile#1TC=windows-7
