One of my partitions on my 1TB Buffalo hard drive got corrupted, how can I retrieve my files?

I can recommend EASUS products. I once recovered a whole hhd that was corrupted using the free version.

You may want to try a specialised partition-recovery programs rather than a general data recovery package. For example, Easeus Partition Recovery . Also, hard drive OEMs such as Seagate offer

recovery utilities for that purpose.This will probably only work on their drives, so you will first need to find out what hard drive is in your Buffalo drive (Buffalo only make the case, not the actual drive).

You can use the trial version of HD Sentinel to get information about all of your installed/connected drives, including manufacturer, model number, serial number, partition information, etc.
