Exporting email data from mac mail to outlook windows.
Is moving emails from one email client to another not possible? I have Mac Mail in my Macbook Pro and am using Outlook 2010 in my Windows system. I am trying to transfer Mac Mail data to Outlook 2010. I have successfully archived the email directory of Mac Mail and transferred the file to the Windows system, but when I use the import wizard, Outlook is unable to recognise the archived file. How is that possible???? Is there anything wrong with my systems or the email clients????

If you happen to have Outlook 2011 on your Mac you can import the Apple Mail messages into Outlook. Then export Outlook (Mac) to an OLM archive and import said archive into Outlook on Windows.Best case scenario you have an IMAP account as Hovsep explained. Finally there are multiple tools you can use to convert your backup e.g. Aid4Mail.http://www.aid4mail.com/
