Here at my university, they provide a digital version of the Windows 7 operating system. I just want to know if I can use that and if possible get it to dual boot on my Mac.

I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro - thanks in advance!

Windows 7 installs from USB drives, so as long as you can get the installer onto that, you'll be fine.

You'd have to define what a "digital version" means. You need to get a physical install disk from somewhere, as there's no way to install an operating system from an install file. It is possible to install from a USB drive though - is that what you're referring to? http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/boot_camp_install-setup_10.7.pdf
