How can I get the Windows 8 start-up tile interface on Windows XP? When one boots into Windows 8 platform, the start-up screen shows apps in tiles format. Is there a tool to get the tile interface on Windows XP

a) The general answer would be no. Apps designed for Metro will not run on older versions of Windows. Apps designed for Windows that feature a Metro UI might run on older versions e.g. Firefox.b) I don't think you can change it ~ weather wouldn't work for me at all so I can't say for sure if there is a way.

Thanks. Which of these utilities can effect the same special-effect as the orignal does ie while booting it comes while transition from earlier screen , as a flip-forward from one-side to front-of-screen ( like seen on television after slow-motion of soccer goal )
