Hi, I'm looking for a cloud backup solution for my Linux Mint machine, and I read your article about that:

https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/5-great-cloud-backup-tools-and-services-that-fully-support-linux/

Bitcasa sound promising - however, they don't seem to provide unlimited space anymore. It's now $25 / month for 25GB and $250 / month for 2.5TB. In other words, very expensive.

- Either you made a mistake and should update your information.

- Or I misunderstood, in which case I would appreciate if you would help me understand how to get unlimited space for 10$ pr month.

Crashplan offers unlimited storage for $6 per month (less if you pay ahead)http://www.code42.com/crashplan/SpiderOak offers 100GB for $10 per month.https://spideroak.comWuala offers 100GB for €9 per month (about $12)*I do suggest testing the offerings beforehand and evaluate how long it takes for your regular backups to be uploaded. It doesn't really make sense to use such a service if your daily backups take half a week to be uploaded.* Wuala is more of an option for European users duo to their data centers being in central Europe

Thanks, that clears things up a bit. However, it is now 99$/m for unlimited - ie 10 times what it used to be :(

You were apparently looking at the pricing for their platform solutions. Their personal solutions still have an unlimited option, but their pricing has changed. It has gone up to $99/month for unlimited. You can get up to 20GB free and up to 1TB for $10/month. [Broken Link Removed]
