Can Dropbox storage space be 'increased' if the files on a target PC are moved to a location other than 'Dropbox' folder?
I'm asking this question because Dropbox got full. I would like to get free space by moving files, after cloud syncing, to a certain PC. Can this be done? Or would the files to be moved, from the source device, take the place of emptied space?
Either way, can free space be regained whether files are moved, either to the source or target device?

Of course. Only what is
in
the dropbox folder is counted towards your quota. Moving files out of the folder will free up space, but will obviously also mean that those files will not be synchronised/backed up.

You have to remove the files or folders from DropBox.
