How can I disable the Home button on the iPhone 4?

On the iPhone 4 how do I disable the home button? My home button is not responding properly, maybe because of some wiring fault or something.

It always goes to voice control and goes to home (keeps getting pressed by itself). I want to disable my home button till I get time to get it repaired. Is it possible?
