Can one person have two accounts with MakeUseOf, one with their real name and one with a pseudonym? Is it possible to list a couple of the bigger sites that broadcast all that you do for god and everybody to see if you use your real name?

Nope, but Facebook is one way of verifying someone's identity. There are many cases where forcing someone to use their real name causes people to not be dicks. Not all cases, mind you, but some.

Many tech sites use Facebook only login to drastically improve the quality of comments; we don't go that far. And right now, only your first name and last initial is listed, not your entire name.

No, multiple accounts are not kosher, because it would allow people to exploit the rewards system.I'm not sure about the second part of your question.

I might be missing something, but how would having multiple accounts exploit the point system?They can't amalgamate points between accounts, right?
