Not sure if it is hardware, but here goes:

I travel extensively and am using a Toshiba Satellite L40 with generic Toshiba CD/DVD drive. I buy DVDs and CDs all over the world and want to watch them while traveling. However, because of the limits of the computer, or drive, or software, I need to change regions and am in danger of using up all my changes!

Is there an easy way (read that I am not a comp-geek) to get around this patently unfair arrangement?

I pay for all my disks in every country! I did search and found a DVD player that supports non-region, but it excludes Toshiba laptops! So, any help out there?

Thanks,

Neil from Hong Kong, now in UK, on my way to USA
