If your main Hard Drive where Windows is installed on is full you will have to free up space by moving or deleting files. Windows requires some space to be free for temporary files and paging. Windows does that in various locations and while some of them can be moved, others can't. So the general advice is to rather move personal files than "fiddling" around with Windows. At first you might want to run Disk Cleanup:- Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup- the entries are rather self-explanatory but it's always safe to select "Downloaded Program Files" and "Temporary Internet Files"... depending on the content and size you may also empty the "Recycle Bin"* beware of "Office Setup Files", deleting those might cause problems with Office Updates and/or TroubleshootingIf you are still out of space you can consider moving the paging file:- for Windows XPhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/307886/en-us- for Windows Vista/7 http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/understanding-windows-vista-paging-file-size/As third option I would suggest to move your personal Documents folder to the other Hard Drive. The same method applies to "My Pictures", "My Videos" etc. if you want to move these too.http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-move-the-my-documents-folder-and-save-your-data-windows/
