I have wireless internet. There is a concave dish on my house, receiving a signal from atop a set of grain towers about 10 miles away line of sight. Is there a way to boost the reception?

First of all, what technology does your wireless internet use? If you are using a concave dish, this is called a unidirectional antenna. This means it needs to be pointed directly at the source to pick up the signal. If it is off even by a little bit, you will see a lot of signal degredation. I can think of 2 things to try. The first is to realign or reposition the antenna to ensure line of sight. At 10 miles even a small error will show up.Another is to try different antenna designs. The depends on the frequency you are trying to pick up, and also if there is a lot of noise in the signal.
