What are your tips to utilize the features of an Android smart phone most productively?

I'm looking specifically for features like alarms, application suggestions, talkback, scheduled power-on/off, data savers and anything else you can think of. Please, use your own experiences to make suggestions. Thanks!

I really like Wunderlist to keep track of tasks, Evernote to keep notes, and the built-in alarm app for any alarms that I need. Here's a good article with a number of useful productivity apps, most of which are available on Android: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/20-productivity-apps-keep-boss-organised/

I like using IFTTT (https://ifttt.com) you can create recipes for your devices on this website. It makes me more productive by, for example, recognising when I am arriving/leaving work and adjusting my volume settings on my phone accordingly. I also sync this with my JawboneUp24 band and it'll turn my phone to silent as I fall asleep. K

Ditching my Android and going back to iPhone was a pretty big productivity boost for me.
