The Elder Scrolls has been around for almost two decades, producing a series of games, books, and comics that have collectively built up extensive lore, enjoyed by millions of players.

If you're a big fan of The Elder Scrolls, then you will enjoy using the iPhone apps featured throughout, which include a mixture of official and non-official apps.

1. The Elder Scrolls: Blades

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is a mobile first-person dungeon crawler game that retains all of the lore and backstory of The Elder Scrolls, coming with distinct, mobile-friendly combat that is easy to get used to. With its own story, you'll experience a linear experience. Challenges and Quests keep you busy with Chests to unlock for more items.

While Blades doesn't offer the gameplay you'll know and love from the main game series, it has a fun little story and the gameplay is simple, making it a great mobile game to kill time. You can also customize your character a great deal, which is faithful to the main series.

2. The Elder Scrolls: Legends

Legends is unlike any other game in the Elder Scrolls series: a card-based mobile game that remains faithful to the history of the franchise while going in a new direction. The game is filled with characters and events that fit in well with other overall Elder Scrolls mythology.

As with all card games, there is a significant element of RNG (Random Number Generator) involved, but not enough to feel like you have a lack of agency over the game.

As you progress through the story, you'll be able to unlock and earn new cards. If you've ever been a fan of other card games, like Yu-Gi-Oh! or Magic The Gathering, then you'll be right at home with The Elder Scrolls: Legends.
