There's never a bad time to reevaluate your goals. And this doesn't just apply to daily or yearly goals—lifetime goals should be up for appraisal too. Which countries do you want to travel to? What exciting adventures do you want to go on?

You only get one life on this earth, so make sure you live it to the fullest. And what better way is there to organize your life goals than with a bucket list app you'll see every day on your smartphone?

Here are some Android bucket list apps that will help you both organize and achieve your life goals.

1. Travel Mapper

If most of the to-do items on your bucket list include traveling to foreign countries, then this is the perfect app for you. Travel Mapper does a great job of tracking places you've been, places you want to go, and even places you've lived.

You can look at a world map and check off continents or countries that you've visited. If you like, you can get a lot more detailed and check off states and territories of each country as you visit them. It's fun to see the world slowly color in as you take more trips—think of it like a digital version of those scratch-off maps.

With Travel Mapper, you can make a list of the countries you most want to visit, plan individual trips, and still look at the bigger picture to see where in the world you've been.

2. Simple Bucket List

The Simple Bucket List app is exactly what the title says: a basic bucket list. If you don't want to add any fancy descriptions to your goals, then this app is a great choice. You can write the name of each goal, then check it off when it's complete—that's it.

Once you've completed one or a few items on your bucket list, you can archive those items and only see what you still have left to do. You can always bring your archived items back up at a later time if you want to relive your past achievements.

You can also easily reorganize items on your list by dragging them. Other than those few features, there's not much else to this app. It's a dedicated list for your life goals and that's all. There are no ads or in-app purchases to worry about.

3. Buckist

Buckist is a great app for anyone who wants inspiration to start their bucket list, as well as motivation to work towards checking items off. There's a great inspiration page in the app where you can see what other people have on their bucket lists. Then, once you come across enough great ideas from other people, you can start brainstorming your own.

Buckist divides bucket list goals into six set categories: Travel, Work, Health/Fitness, Learning, Love, and Unspecified. Although you can't add extra categories, most traditional bucket list goals will fall under the named categories offered by Buckist.

What's really neat about Buckist is that you have the ability to add a to-do list and a target date for each of your bucket list items. Seeing actionable to-do list items, and a date to complete them by, will help you reach your goal faster and cross it off your bucket list.

4. Lifetime Goals

The Lifetime Goals app gets you started with preset categories and then lets you customize your bucket list as you see fit. The seven preset categories are health, career, travel, relationship, personal, financial, and contribution. While these categories will likely fit any bucket list item, you can always add an extra category if none of the preset ones seem right.

With the Lifetime Goals app, you can give detailed descriptions for each of your goals. Map out a plan, make a bulleted list, and track your progress to success. You can document everything relating to your bucket list item right in the service.

And once you've achieved items on your bucket list, you can navigate to the Achievements section to check them out. There, you can see exactly what day and time you achieved your goal. It's a great way to look back on past successes and motivate yourself to continue accomplishing targets.

5. Bucket List

The Bucket List app has a simple interface that's easy to use. There's also a dark mode option that you can enable if you hate staring at bright white screens.

Although the app is simple, it's also customizable. You can create as many tags as you want, like travel, health, adventure, love, and more. You can also choose an icon and a color for each tag. Then you can search through your bucket list items by tag to easily find specific goals.

When you create an item on your bucket list, you can assign as many tags as you want. For example, hiking up a mountain in a foreign country could fall under the health, travel, and adventure tags. And when you check an item off your list, it'll tell you the date and time you achieved that goal.

Start Checking Life Goals off Your List

Add a few tasks to your list to start and before you know it, your bucket list will be fun of exciting adventures you can't wait to go on.

A bucket list is never meant to be fully completed. As you achieve successes and cross items off your list, you're bound to add more. But you've got to start somewhere, right? Start with something small that can easily be checked off, like trying out a new activity or learning something you've never looked into before.
