There is a user name and passoword for almost everything these days. For security reasons etc. it becomes necessary to keep them different and also keep changing them. Often the storage is on one computer or diary etc. and then it's not available when required on a different computer.
Hence, I would like a suggestion on the best and most secure online resources available for the above.

I use Password Gorilla. crossplatform for Windows, Mac and Linux. Then I'll transfer the encrypted file in Dropbox. Nothing is stored online very long for security. "The Password Gorilla helps you manage your logins. It stores all your user names and passwords, along with login information and other notes, in a securely encrypted file. A single “master password” is used to protect the file. If you want to log in to a service or Web site, the Password Gorilla copies your user name and password to the clipboard, so that you can easily paste it into your Web browser or other application. Because the password does not appear on the screen, Password Gorilla is safe to use in the presence of others. The convenience of Password Gorilla allows you to choose different, non-intuitive passwords for each service. An integrated random password generator can provide one-time passwords, tunable to various services’ policies."

One service that I particularly like is Clipperz (www.clipperz.com). As an online service, you can easily access it with just a username and password from any device that offer full-featured webpage viewing. The advantage of Clipperz in my eyes is that they explain to you how the software works, and give you the source code so you can check it yourself (it's open source).

There are far simpler solutions thanks to cloud computing. If you have a google account or windows live account you can create a spreadsheet with user/pass columns, keep it private and under one single location accessible from any computer. You only have to remember one username and one password and have access to the rest, just use a very strong password and keep your computer clean of any spyware/malware/viruses.It won't create random usernames, unless you are a formula expert and create a personal algorithm to do that for you, but in any other way I think its far more simple than using a specialized service.

- LastPass@http://lastpass.com - It's an add on for Firefox and Chrome. However, it's not only a user and pass keeper, it also fills forms, password generator and notes. And some other things as well...

You might want to look into LastPass! The general idea is that you have one password for LastPass and get all other login details from there. It is cross-platform and cross-browser compatibleFor 1$ per month you'll get the Premium service where you can access all data from your mobile device too.
