I own a DVD of an old movie which I love but couldn't replace if it was damaged or lost. Is there any way to make a copy for safe-keeping (not to share or give away)?

Copying movies that are copyrighted and have been encrypted is illegal and immoral. That said, The FBI will not bust down your down for make a back copy of a DVD for personal use.A lot of people use DVD Decrypter and then DVD Shrink so the movies fits on one DVD.
